About Mini Montesaurs
Mini Montesaurs offers a unique, personalised, home from home environment for your child. We provide a high quality educational journey, mixed with awe, wonder and excitement for learning!
We believe that children learn best through exploring their own environment and accessing good quality resources. We have therefore designed our nursery as an open plan space that has a natural and spacious feel enabling us to provide a rich learning space for children to confidently explore. We welcome families to come and look around at what we have created and let the provision speak for itself.
Our Ethos
At Mini Montesaurs we are Montessori inspired. The aim of the Montessori approach is to support children to unfold their own potential by giving them the freedom to explore an environment that is designed to meet their developmental and individual learning needs and that enables them to lead their own learning. Children are helped to develop their self-esteem, self-awareness and self-discipline in order to become socially responsible and active little people. The learning environment is a crucial component of the Montessori approach as it is deliberately designed to support children’s independent learning and promote their constructive choices.
At Mini Montesaurs we are not rigid to one way of thinking as we know that every child is different. What works for one child may not for another. Therefore we have a blended curriculum which incorporates The Early Years Curriculum, The Montessori approach, outdoor learning and of course, the approach to adapt each child’s learning to a personalised curriculum for them.
